It has been a seismic 18 months. We’ve been through Brexit and a global pandemic: the world has changed.
There seems to be light at the end of the tunnel with a successful vaccination programme in place. Now is the time to look forward.
- Where do you want your business to be in a year?
- What do you need from your client relationships to help you achieve this?
- How up to the job are your client relationships?
The global changes will also have affected your clients. It’s dangerous to assume that your relationship with them hasn’t changed, too. If you haven’t already done so, now is the time to have a serious conversation with them about how they see their business now and how you can serve them better. Whatever the change, it is important to know what you should do next.
Conversations like this need to be skilful and sensitive. What your clients need from you now might be very different from your expectations – and present a real opportunity for you, too. Look around your people and decide who you can trust to have good, thoughtful, and candid conversations with your clients to assess your position and safeguard and grow your business into the post-pandemic future.
